RESEARCH

The Sydney School of Businesses is an independent, non-partisan, social, and business research think tank. The SSB has the freedom to explore, research, publish, and contribute to the process of change to the most aspects of the community.

The School’s interdisciplinary approach to research is free from the usual administrative constraints. This enhances the research outcome in terms of the amount of intellectual depth and breadth of industry relevance. The research is supported by external grants, private, and public commissions, and collaborative undertakings with other stakeholders.

The Sydney School of Business overall research objective is to have an effect on organisations, government, individuals, and the community in terms of behaviour, attitude, awareness, policy, practice, and process. 

The research activity is integrated with the learning activities of the School and is generally undertaken through grants, on a commissioned basis, or on a collaborative basis with other institutions. The School’s areas of research encompass a broad range of social, economic, business, legal, governance, compliance, management, banking, finance, investment, marketing, competition, and social policy analysis.

The School’s research is presented at seminars and workshops in addition to presentations delivered by our visiting scholars, guest, and visitors from Australia and abroad.
